Solicitor

Daniel is a solicitor at Briffa and advises clients on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters, with a focus on trade marks and copyright matters.

Prior to joining Briffa Daniel worked at a firm in Surrey as a dispute resolution solicitor where he obtained significant experience assisting commercial clients of various sizes resolve disputes, including defamation and intellectual property issues, in a pragmatic manner (i.e., before court proceedings became necessary, via mediation and at court). As a result, Daniel is well placed to understand the wider commercial implications of ensuring contracts are drafted appropriately to help protect his clients in the event a dispute arises.
